As not many of you know, I was invited by Servimedia to the Francis Montesinos show.
What can I say, that man is an artist. The collection I saw was named “Ave Maria” inspired by the paintings of American painter and sculptor Matt Lamb. A mysterious mixture of tricot, silk, chiffon and organza's that worked in a harmoniously way with splashes of warm tones and images printed on tees and skirts of Lambs paintings.
It was more than a simple fashion show; the models strolled down the catwalk past a group of young kids singing away with umbrella's in their hands. Weird wet entertaining.
Muchos no sabíais que fui invitada por Servimedia a la pasarela de Francis Montesinos. Que puedo decir sobre este hombre, es todo un artista. La colección llamada “Ave Maria” fue inspirado por las obras del pintor Amerciano Matt Lamb. Una misteriosa mezcla de tricot,seda,gasas y organzas complementaban unos a otro melancólicamente cuando los colores de tonos cálidos representaban cuadro del pintor estampados en camisetas y faldas.
Era más que una simple pasarela, las modelos cruzaban al andar un grupo de niños cantando con paraguas entre sus manos. Raro, muy raro pero entretenido.
