okay. so i was on a 2 week trip to China when the final happend and we were in Guilin, (for the cruise down the Li River). The time it was on live in China was 2 am. Its crazy, because i dont really follow soccer ( or football ;p )or any major sports for that matter except the olympics, but regardless, i stayed up with some friends all night and then proceded to watch the game in the hotel bar. And let me tell you, the hotel bar wasnt a big one, but if was flooded with a huge group of Spanards. They were all crazy, and smoking and drinking and there was one guy who kept starting up patriotic spanish songs and then everyone would join in, and then there was this one lady who would literaly shriek everytime a goal -regardelss of whos- was almost made. And when Spain finally won, they lept up on tables and kissed and hugged and then knocked the tables over. i'd love to know what the chinese bartenders thought because they're always so poised and quited and polite.
it was quite an expereriance. hooorahhh for my first time watching the world cup ;D i can only imagine how crazy it was in Spain!
