Spanish Summer

Its seem that the sun is going to be hanging around for a wile, which is great!
So me and some friends decided to have a lovely day on the beach playing volley-ball.
This week has been interesting, I got the chance to meet Lorenzo Caprile, a fantastic designer who some of you might know for dressing princes Letizia.

Por lo visto el sol ha decidido quedarse por una temporadita! Y eso es fantástico!
Y por esa razón unos amigos y yo decidimos parar un buen día en la playa jugando al volley-ball.
Esta semana fue bastante interesante. Tuve la oportunidad de conocer a Lorenzo Carile, un fantástico diseñador que quizás conocéis por haber vestido a la princesa Letizia.

Over-wear and lace

I have had an obsession with lace for quite a wile now and you cant image how pleased I was to discover that D&G had introduced it for the spring/summer collection this year! Lace has always been considered fashionable going back in to the 1500s were we could see paintings of aristocrats with there lace ruffs around there necks and also on the cuffs of their sleeves. It was used by women and men. 
There is also two more trend that has been hitting hard this year and its under wear as over wear! Something the queen of pop Madonna did really well back in the 90s. And floral prints, they have been taking over the textile industry for the last two summers! We all love it, don't we?
So if you are really daring why don't you have ago at mixing those trends! I had a go and i liked it! Im not in the correct place to wear something like this. People would just stare!

He tenido una obsesión con el encaje por una buena temporada y no te puedes imaginar la alegría que me dio al descubrir que D&G introdujeron el encaje en su colección de primavera/verano!
El encaje siempre se ha considerado algo estiloso desde el siglo XVI donde podemos observar atreves de obras de arte la aristocracia con sus grogeras de encaje al redor de sus cuellos y en los puños de las mangas.
Hay otras dos tendencias que atacan con mucha fuerza este año, la ropa interior como ropa exterior, algo que Madonna nos enseño que le daba muy bien en los años 90. Y el estampado floral, que ha sido una gran demanda en el mundo textil. ¿Nos encanta verdad?
Así, si eres muy atrevida, intenta mezclar estar tres tendencias. Yo lo hice y me encantó. Lo malo es que donde vivo la gente se me quedarían mirando de una manera muy rara.

London

Who else likes London? 
Went on a short weekend trip to London , although the short trip was longer than expected, we were delayed two days because of the volcano ash. It was ok, we got to spend more days with my grandmother, she turned 91 and lives alone! She is amazing!

Quien más está enamorada de Londres?
Me hice un pequeño viaje a Londres, pero ese pequeño viaje se extendió inesperadamente unos dos días, pero fue fantástico. Así pude pasar dos días más con mi abuelita que cumplía 91 y encima vive sola! Es increíble!
